CREDIT SYSTEM

In the academic year 1999-2000 we introduced Credit Based Semester System and Credit Based Certificate Courses.
The normal duration for B.Ed. in an academic year is two semesters and the number of working days is 200, which is inclusive of 10 days for as admission, 10 days for Examination ( 5 Days per semester) and 180 working days ( 90 per semester).

  Evaluation

The evaluation of students is based on continuous assessment and a comprehensive examination held for each course at the end of each semester. There will be descriptive type questions for the semester examination and the maximum marks will be 100. The ratio of continuous assessment to the final semester examination is

  Internal - 40
External - 60

The marking system is followed for both written and practical examination. The passing minimum is 40% in both internal and external assessment.

From the year 2002 Single Valuation was followed. (External)
