God eternal, infinite,
Ruler over time and space;
Loving Father in whose care
Even the lowliest has a place. |
| |
Grant the daughters of this house
Gathered here and scattered far,
Gentleness and fortitude,
Found of old in Christopher. |
| |
Give us faith, that ventures forth,
Not content with well worn ways;
Eager hearts prepared to meet
New adventures all our days. |
| |
Give us joy in simple things,
Love of Childhood, Sympathy,
Service to the least of these
Seen as service unto thee. |
| |
Bless our teaching may we learn
Ever to be taught of thee:
Mark our work with joyfulness,
And a losing honesty. |
| |
Bless our college, every one
Teaching, learning serving there,
May we love thee utterly,
As thy servant Christopher. |
